Activistic’s (ASX:ACU) subsidiary Plus Connect is witnessing positive response and acceptance for its recently launched sports lottery product.

In February 2017, Plus Connect launched “Magpie Millions”, sports lottery product in partnership with Collingwood Football Club.

The company is actively marketing the product and is expected to sign further AFL clubs during the 2017 calendar year.

Plus Connect’s proceeds from this product will be directly allocated to the respective clubs and will be used to fund their core activities as well as community based projects.

This model has been successful overseas and represents a significant opportunity in the Australian market, where products with these characteristics have not yet been developed.

Plus Connect is currently working on expanding this product into other sporting codes in Australia and potentially overseas.

Sales have increased week on week for Magpie Millions since launch, with other key metrics showing high acceptance of the product.

Plus Connect currently operates two socially responsible lottery products, a sports and a charity lottery.

Activistic announced the acquisition of Plus Connect in September 2016 and following an off-market takeover, Plus Connect has become its wholly owned subsidiary.

Furthermore, the company recently negotiated a $2 million convertible note facility to finance its working capital requirements.
