The OTT service includes over 200 live TV channels

TV2U International (ASX:TV2) is set to reach an important milestone by invoicing its first sale to SOL Telecom in Brazil before 30 June 2017.

The billing amount will be in the region of $130,000, which includes implementation fees for the launch of the service in Brazil.

TV2U is an entertainment platform that enables businesses, such as telecommunications companies, to offer streaming over-the-top (OTT) content to their customers.

TV2U expects monthly billing to be ongoing and on an increasing scale as services and subscribers are ramped by SOL.

With over 300 ISPs already expressing their commitment to the program, the company expects millions of subscribers to take up these services.

SOL Telecom recently updated the contract whereby minimum subscribers and minimum OTT operators have been formalised for the first five years.

All these subscribers will have access to the TV2U OTT platform, which offers OTT services to the subscribers.

TV2U’s services in Brazil will roll out from now, with new content packages being made available throughout the remainder of this year as additional content deals are finalised.
