Future Fibre Technologies (ASX:FFT) has secured a new order worth $369,000 to protect the perimeter of liquified natural gas (LNG) facilities located in Northern Australia.
The company’s “Secure Fence” has successfully protected this site for more than 10 years and this long-term customer is upgrading to the company’s latest generation software and hardware.
Future Fibre’s advanced security systems help detect and locate perimeter intrusions, identify third-party interference on pipelines and protect sensitive data network communications cables.
With a large and well established install base, the company is receiving a growing number of enquiries regarding security upgrade programs.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Army, the U.S. Air Force, the Australian Department of Defence and the Adelaide Submarine Corporation are some of its clients.
Future Fibre has secured major deals this year, including a million dollar international seaport perimeter security contract in the Middle East.
Last month, the company secured a $900,000 order to protect the perimeter of government facility sites located in the Northern Hemisphere.
Future Fibre finished the June quarter with $7 million cash at bank to finance its growth and meet working capital requirements.
