This market is forecast to be worth more than US$12bn by 2022, from US$3bn in 2015, across a whole range of products such as printers, screens and lighting as demand for machine-to-machine/Internet of Things interaction increases.

Within this, Asia-Pacific is forecast to account for the largest share of the total global printed electronics market.

Ray Gibbs, Haydale’s chief executive, said: "GPC has the right profile and customer focus to demonstrate that sales and marketing of our formulated graphene-based inks, specifically into Japan and other Asian countries, will be well received.
