To date, Capstone has shipped over 9,000 of these systems into 73 countries logging millions of operating hours.

Capstone is committed to improving the efficiency of energy needs around the world, while simultaneously reducing global emissions of pollutants and greenhouse gases. Capstone’s systems help end users improve their impact on the environment, while still meeting power and reliability needs. During fiscal year 2019, Capstone saved end-use customers an estimated $253 million in annual energy costs and 350,000 tons of carbon.

Not only does Capstone enable customers to reduce CO2 and emissions, Capstone applies the same principals to its own environmental footprint and focuses internally on its environmental risks, energy consumption, waste disposal and carbon footprint. Capstone offers a comprehensive lineup of clean-and-green microturbines that are scalable from 30kW to 30MW and can operate on a variety of gaseous or liquid fuels including: Natural Gas, Associated Gas, LPG/Propane, Flare Gas, Landfill Gas, Digester Gas, Diesel, Aviation Fuel and Kerosene. Capstone microturbines are the ideal solution for today's distributed generation needs.


The C30 provides up to 30kW of electric power in a compact package.


The C65 provides up to 65kW of electric power while the UL-Certified C65 ICHP provides up to an additional 150kW of thermal power for CHP applications.


The C200S provides up to 200kW of electric power and contaisns the world's largest single-unit air bearing microturbine.


The C600S provides up to 600kW of electric power and contains three air bearing microturbines.


The C800S provides up to 800kW of electric power and contains four air bearing microturbines.


The C1000S provides up to 1MW of electric power and contains five air bearing microturbines. Up to 30 C1000S microturbines can be connected in parallel to generate up to 30MW of electrical power.

President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Jamison joined Capstone in December 2006 as President and Chief Executive Officer and has been a director since December 2006. Mr. Jamison joined Capstone from Northern Power Systems, Inc., a company that designs, manufactures and sells wind turbines into the global marketplace, where he served as President and Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Operations. Prior to joining Northern Power Systems, Inc., Mr. Jamison was Vice President and General Manager of Distributed Energy Solutions for Stewart & Stevenson Services, Inc., a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of specialized engine‑driven power generation equipment to the oil and gas, renewable and energy efficiency markets. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Finance from Seattle University.

Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Brooks was appointed to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Capstone Turbine Corporation in April 2019. Since April 2015, Ms. Brooks served as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Accounting Officer. She joined the company in September 2005 and has served in various roles including: Vice President of Finance and Chief Accounting Officer (November 2008 to April 2015), Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis (February 2008 to November 2008), and Director of Financial Reporting (September 2005 to February 2008). Prior to joining Capstone, Ms. Brooks was Vice President and Controller of Computer Patent Annuities North America LLC, a company providing solutions for intellectual property management needs, technology renewal services, software tools and portfolio management. Ms. Brooks holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. Ms. Brooks is a Certified Public Accountant (active) licensed in California and a member of Financial Executives International.

Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Mr. Crouse joined Capstone Turbine Corporation in 2007. He leads Capstone's Sales, Marketing and Product Development efforts globally. Since joining Capstone, Mr. Crouse has helped the company bring several new clean energy and renewable microturbine products to market.

Mr. Crouse is the Chairman of the Board for the World Alliance for Decentralized Energy (WADE). WADE's membership includes more than 200 corporate leaders in the decentralized-energy industry, and national CHP and decentralized energy associations worldwide.

In December 2010, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gary Locke named Mr. Crouse to a national advisory committee that will promote U.S. exports of renewable energy and energy efficient technologies. Mr. Crouse is one of 29 members on this Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Advisory Committee that will advise Locke on the development and implementation of programs and policies to help expand the competitiveness of the U.S. renewable energy and energy efficiency industries. In March 2011, Mr. Crouse testified in Washington, D.C., before the Subcommittee on Commerce, Manufacturing and Trade about Capstone's success as a global exporter.

Prior to joining Capstone, Mr. Crouse spent more than 20 years developing CHP and renewable energy projects throughout the United States.

Senior Vice President Customer Service and Product Development
Mr. Foster joined Capstone in 2013, initially serving as the Director of the Program Management Office (PMO), leading the successful development and launch of the Signature Series product line in December of 2015. Prior to coming to Capstone, Mr. Foster had worked 24 years at ITT Corporation (later Exelis, Inc.) in many functional areas, including Operations, Quality, Customer Service, Engineering, and PMO – culminating in the leadership of a global business area with P&L and strategic growth responsibility. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Foster School of Business at the University of Washington in Seattle, is a graduate of the ITT Corporation Executive Leadership Development program at Ashridge University in the United Kingdom, is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt and is a proud U.S. Navy veteran.

Chief Accounting Officer
Mr. Hencken has served as the Company’s Controller since October 2017.  Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Hencken held various roles in Finance and Accounting with InnoVista Sensors, previously Custom Sensors and Technologies, Inc., a global company specializing in designing and manufacturing sensors, controls, and actuators from 2012 to 2017.  While employed at InnoVista Sensors, Mr. Hencken’s various roles included the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, International Controller, and Director of Finance and Administration, North America.  Prior to InnoVista Sensors, Mr. Hencken served as the Manager of Financial Reporting from 2008 to 2011 and Director of Financial Reporting in 2012, for THQ Inc., an independent developer and publisher of games and interactive entertainment software.  Prior to THQ Inc., Mr. Hencken was employed by McGladrey, LLP, a provider of assurance, tax, and consulting services, from 2001 to 2008, providing attest services.  Mr. Hencken holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from California State University, Long Beach and is a Certified Public Accountant (active) licensed in California.

Senior Vice President of Manufacturing
Mr. Petty joined Capstone in 2007, serving in many cross-functional leadership positions across operations, customer service and quality. Mr. Petty holds a Bachelor of Science, Summa Cum Laude, in Organizational Leadership from Pennsylvania State University and is a graduate of the Executive Leadership Development Program at the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business. In addition to volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity and the American Red Cross, he also holds several professional certifications from the American Society for Quality, including Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Manager of Quality and Operational Excellence, and Certified Six Sigma Black Belt; and is a United States Marine Corps veteran.
