Braingrid shares boosted as it launches latest sensor technology to help cannabis growers

Dubbed Sentroller S, the new platform brings together all features of Braingrid's original Sentroller platform
The firm's technology allows growers peace of mind that their cannabis crops are safe, it said

Braingrid Ltd (CNSX:BGRD) shares advanced Tuesday as the cannabis technology-focused group launched a new platform to help growers.

Dubbed Sentroller S, the new platform brings together all the features of Braingrid's original Sentroller platform to cultivators, including quick installation, online dashboards and reports, as well as email alarm notifications, the Toronto-based company said.

Sentroller S launch yet another important milestone

This allows growers peace of mind that their cannabis crops are safe and thriving.

"The Sentroller S launch marks yet another important milestone for Braingrid that aligns with our strategic plan and continues our momentum that has been building since the launch of our original Sentroller as we strive to provide the best precision technology solution to the cannabis cultivation industry," said Michael Kadonoff, founder and CEO of Braingrid.

The Sentroller S is powered by a solar panel that enables an even quicker install and limitless possibilities for sensor placement, the firm highlighted.

Significantly, any form of grow lighting, including LED (light-emitting diode), is sufficient to power the ultralow-energy Sentroller S.

This new self-powered Sentroller S differentiates the company from the competition by monitoring mission-critical cultivation parameters (temperature, relative humidity, carbon dioxide, PAR (photosynthetic active radiation), EC (electrical conductivity) and moisture) in the plant canopy, without power cords or the need to change batteries.

Shares gained 5.56% to $0.095.
