Kleos Space appoints ground service provider for Scouting Mission satellites

The company will have access to additional ground stations within the KSAT network, consisting of 15 locations worldwide.

Kleos Space SA (ASX:KSS) (FRA:KS1) has appointed Kongsberg Satellite Service (KSAT) as its ground service provider, marking a milestone toward beginning revenue generation and commencing post commissioning of its Scouting Mission satellites.

Norwegian-based KSAT is a world-leading provider of communication services for spacecraft and launch vehicles.

“We have appointed Kongsberg as they are one of the world leaders for data reception and near real-time Earth observation services.

Kleos’ satellites will instantly transmit observation data to the KSAT downlink ground station in Svalbard, Norway.
