LiteLink Technologies' subsidiary’s hot esports digital wallet Streambucks is official payment sponsor of EGLX 2019

LiteLink Technologies Inc (CSE:LLT) (OTC:LLNKF) announced Thursday that its wholly-owned subsidiary, uBUCK Technologies SEZC, has inked a pact with Enthusiast Gaming Holdings Inc (TSXV:EGLX)(OTCQB:EGHIF) to be the official payment sponsor at the Enthusiast Gaming Live Expo, better known as EGLX, in October this year.

Enthusiast is the largest publicly traded video-game media and esports company in North America and is bringing the three-day EGLX event to Toronto starting on October 18.  

uBUCK Technologies has created a digital wallet and payments platform that could revolutionize the payment industry. uBUCK is a peer-to-peer payment platform offering consumers faster payment options, which are commission-free and secure compared to traditional payment methods.

According to the letter of agreement, uBUCK Technologies will become the official payment sponsor of EGLX which drew 55,000 attendees last year. Its Streambucks digital payment solution for the esports industry will be the official digital wallet and remittance transfer partner for the popular EGLX event.

Facilitate transfrer of prize funds

As part of the sponsorship, uBUCK will facilitate the transfer of the prize funds to the winners of the tournament. The Streambucks app offers users the ability to purchase products with a debit card, transfer payments and make donations to their favorite streamers and gamers.

“This partnership with Enthusiast Gaming will give uBUCK access to a large and targeted esports audience, making this the perfect opportunity to market our newly created payment solution to what we feel is an ideal demographic,” said uBUCK Technologies CEO James Youn in a statement. “We are confident that Streambucks will be well-received and look forward to playing a key role in the rapidly growing esports industry.”

uBUCK Tech will also work with Enthusiast to create advertising programs across its digital-publisher network which reaches over 75 million monthly visitors, across 85 gaming websites and an additional 50 million monthly visitors from 900 gaming YouTube channels.

“uBUCK provides a faster, safer alternative compared to traditional payment options and will help us streamline our process at EGLX 2019,” said Meir Bulua, the chief information officer at Enthusiast. “With the continued growth of EGLX and our events business, including the significant increase in prize pools and donations, we are always looking for ways to increase our efficiencies and provide increased value to our players.”
