AdEPT Technology flags move to single brand and 'exciting times ahead'

AdEPT has shifted over the past four years to a managed services provider from its previous focus on ‘calls and lines’ products

AdEPT Technology Group PLC -

AdEPT Technology Group PLC (LON:ADT) is in “a position to grasp opportunities we couldn't have contemplated five years ago”, the company said in a letter to shareholders on Tuesday.

The second half of 2019 will see all subsidiary companies moving to a single AdEPT brand, said chairman Ian Fishwick.

All physical infrastructure is also moving to the group’s own data centres and telecoms routing network, with all CRM systems shifting to a single platform.

This comes after AdEPT shifted over the past four years from a focus on ‘calls and lines’ products to its current status as a managed services provider, with connectivity, unified communications and other IT managed services now comprising more than 75% of group revenue.

Fishwick said there would be "exciting times ahead", with the group "stronger than ever both financially and from the calibre of the people we employ", with the freshened up management team looking to "grasp opportunities" thanks to a stronger "organic sales machine".
