LoopUp launches affordable video conference suites option

LoopUp Rooms will be competitively priced, can be set up in minutes and uses off-the-shelf hardware

LoopUp Group PLC -

LoopUp Group PLC (LON: LOOP) has launched a new affordable HD videoconferencing service to enable businesses to organise their own virtual meetings.

Known as LoopUp Rooms, the company said it will combine its existing remote meeting solution with off-the-shelf hardware to create competitively-priced, plug-and-play video conferencing suites accessible to all users.

Until recently, video suites have often been expensive to install, complex to use and inaccessible to many employees,  LoopUp noted.

LoopUp Rooms will be competitively priced, can be set up in minutes and use off-the-shelf hardware of a display screen, a high-quality camera, a mini-PC, a touch-screen controller and a conference room phone, the group added.

Users join meetings, which can be booked through Outlook, with one touch from a touch-screen controller.

In a statement, Steve Flavell and Michael Hughes, co-CEOs of LoopUp Group, said: "With remote and distributed working now the new normal for many, a growing number of meetings are taking place by video conference.

“Businesses need more meeting rooms equipped with technology for employees to collaborate effectively and comfortably with clients and colleagues. We're facilitating this by making premium video conferencing suites more cost-competitive, accessible and intuitive for users without having to call upon IT for assistance."
